It was very difficult at first then we decided to do it our way. We wrap the lights on the tail of the balloon ran them around one side of the balloon and taped it and then the twisted them around each other toward the other side of the balloon and taped it. Then we had a tail. Its absolutely gorgeous!!!
So, when i first got these, I tried to blow them up by mouth...big no no! You need a ballon pump, which luckily I already had. BUT, I promise its worth it!! Because they arent latex, they are crystal clear. Once fully blown, they did stretch to approx. 20...yes, I measured LOL! I did not put helium in them but I suspect they would look AMAZING floating. I plan to use these as lighting for an event so I wanted to test them. The lights stayed lit for 3 days, beginning to dim around the middle of day two (I will only need them on for 6 hours). I had knotted the end and I will say that around 8 hours later, I could notice it starting to deflate. Next test, I might try knitting AND a zip tie, but again, it lasted for as long as I will need them so Im really happy! I actually threaded the light into the balloon. Its going to work perfectly for the effect Im looking for and I dont have to haste with electrical and extension cords, I can just turn on, set up and forget about them until clean up time!! I will definitely be purchasing several more sets!!
